What happens after the prelims result
Shortlisted candidates from the Prelims will advance to the Mains stage and subsequent selection phases as outlined below.
- Mains Examination: Scheduled for 4 October 2026; it will include objective and descriptive sections.
- Mains Admit Card: Expected in the last week of September 2026 (date not yet announced officially) and will be available only to shortlisted candidates.
- Interview/Personality Test: Likely to be held in November–December 2026 (not yet announced).
- Final Merit List: Prepared by combining Mains and Interview scores in an 80:20 ratio.
- Provisional Allotment: Candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the 11 participating banks based on rank, category, and preferences submitted at registration.
