Eligibility criteria
Candidates must hold an engineering degree in the specified disciplines and meet the post-qualification experience requirements where applicable.
- Educational qualification: BE / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Electrical Engineering as relevant to the post.
- Experience (Mechanical / Metallurgical): Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors and other major fabricated static equipment manufactured as per ASME, or pumps/compressors manufactured and tested as per API for refinery and petrochemical services.
- Experience (Electrical): Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in inspection of electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators, synchronous generators, variable frequency drives, UPS, electrical control systems, battery chargers, power and control cables, and electrical bulk items.
Age limit and relaxations
