Bank of Baroda (Advt No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17) has opened online applications for 1,100 Specialist Officer vacancies—1,000 Wealth Executive (JMG/S‑I) and 100 Credit Analyst – C&IC (MMG/S‑II). Eligibility and age limits

Eligibility is determined as on the cut‑off date 01.09.2026. Educational qualifications must be from recognised institutions and post‑qualification experience less than six months will generally not be considered except when part of current employment.

Wealth Executive (JMG/S‑I)

The post requires a graduate degree in any discipline along with one of the specified certifications; relevant sales experience is mandatory.

  • Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline AND any one valid certification among: IC 38 (Insurance Institute of India), NISM Series V A (Mutual Fund Distributors), NISM Series XXI‑A (PMS Distributors), or NISM Series V‑D (Mutual Fund – Specialised Investment Fund Distributors).
  • Preferred qualification: 2‑year full‑time PG degree/diploma in Management or MBA (Finance/Marketing/Banking).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales of wealth products with leading public/private/foreign banks, broking or securities firms, asset management companies, or wealth management companies in India.

Credit Analyst – C&IC (MMG/S‑II)

The Credit Analyst role requires a Chartered Accountant qualification with mandatory banking experience.

  • Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline AND Chartered Accountant.
  • Mandatory experience: Minimum 1 year of banking experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.
  • Preferred experience: Exposure to Corporate Credit.

Age limits

Age is calculated as on 01.09.2026 and category‑wise relaxations are applicable as per Government of India norms.

  • Wealth Executive: 22 to 32 years.
  • Credit Analyst – C&IC: 21 to 33 years.
  • Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (NCL) – 3 years; PwBD – Gen/EWS 10 years, OBC 13 years, SC/ST 15 years; Ex‑Servicemen – specified relaxations per category.

Selection process and online test pattern

The selection may include application scrutiny, an online test, psychometric test, group discussion and/or personal interview. Shortlisting criteria are internal to the Bank.

Notes: Sections 1–3 are qualifying and their marks are not counted for merit; there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks for Personal Interview are 60% for General & EWS and 55% for other reserved categories. Psychometric Test and/or PI evaluate personality, communication and willingness to serve anywhere.

Salary, probation and service bond

Selected candidates will be placed in the applicable officer scales and will receive allowances as per Bank rules and industry settlements.

Probation and bond: Selected candidates will be on probation for 12 months. JMG/S‑I and MMG/S‑II officers must serve a minimum of 3 years or pay an amount equivalent to three months’ gross salary (caps specified in the notification) if leaving before completing the minimum service period.
