Eligibility and educational qualification
All posts under RRB NTPC Graduate CEN 06/2026 require a degree from a recognized University or equivalent; candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on or before 06 November 2026 and candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.

Application fee and refund
Application fees must be paid online and a partial refund is available to candidates who appear in the 1st Stage CBT as specified in the notification.

Selection process
The recruitment stages under CEN 06/2026 comprise computer-based tests followed by document verification and medical examination; there is no typing skill test for typist posts in this cycle.

CBT 1 pattern
CBT 1 comprises 100 questions to be attempted in 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates using a scribe) with one-third mark negative marking for each wrong answer.

Minimum qualifying marks
Minimum qualifying marks for CBT are prescribed by category and may have a relaxation of 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage against reserved vacancies.

Photo and signature requirements
The application portal will capture a live photograph during the online application; candidates must upload a scanned signature in the prescribed format and size.
Live photograph requirements
Photographs must be captured live through the application portal using a plain white background and following the specified instructions.
- Use a pure plain white background and non-white clothing.
- Look directly at the camera with a neutral expression; entire face visible and centered.
- Head should occupy at least 50% of the photograph area.
- No cap, mask or spectacles; do not upload an existing printed or digital photograph.
Signature upload requirements
Signature must be in black ink on white paper, scanned and uploaded in JPG/JPEG format meeting size and dimension limits.

- File size: 30 KB to 49 KB
- Minimum dimensions: 140 × 60 pixels
- Scanner resolution: Minimum 100 DPI
- Signature box: 35 mm × 20 mm
- Signatures in block or capital letters are not accepted
How to apply
The online application process opens on 08 October 2026 and closes on 06 November 2026 at 11:59 PM; candidates must submit only one application and select only one RRB.

Application correction window
The application modification window will be open from 09 November to 18 November 2026; eligible details can be modified by paying a ₹250 non-refundable modification fee for each occasion, while certain account details and the chosen RRB cannot be changed.
