Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC) has released Advertisement No. 06/2026 to recruit 10 regular vacancies for Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager and Additional General Manager posts in Finance and HR disciplines; eligible Indian candidates can apply online at THDC’s career portal between 07 October 2026 (10:00 A.M.) and 06 November 2026 (06:00 P.M.), selection will be based on a Personal Interview and final merit list.

Nationality and eligible applicants

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for these posts and must meet the specified educational and experience requirements for the respective posts.

Educational qualifications

Qualifications differ by discipline; the notification specifies the essential academic criteria for Finance and HR posts.

  • Finance posts (Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager): CA or CMA qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
  • HR posts (Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager): Full-time MBA with specialization in HRM/HRD/HRM (HR as main/major) with minimum 60% marks OR Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management/IR/Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks OR two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in PM&IR/Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks OR Masters in Social Work or MHROD from a recognized university/institute. Desirable: LLB.

Experience requirements

Post-qualification executive experience is mandatory with minimum years specified per post; experience should be in relevant functional areas and preferably in reputed organisations.

  • Senior Manager (Finance/HR): Minimum 13 years post-qualification executive/officer cadre experience, including at least 2 years in the immediate lower grade/scale. Experience area: Accounts/Finance/Internal Audit for Finance; Human Resource and Industrial Relations for HR.
  • Deputy General Manager (Finance/HR): Minimum 17 years post-qualification executive/officer cadre experience, including at least 2 years in the immediate lower grade/scale.
  • Additional General Manager (Finance/HR): Minimum 21 years post-qualification executive/officer cadre experience, including at least 2 years in the immediate lower grade/scale.

Age limit and relaxations

Upper age limits are specified for each post with relaxations applicable as per notified categories; the cut-off date for upper age and experience is 07.10.2026.

Maximum upper age after relaxation shall not exceed 58 years.

Salary and compensation

Pay levels are defined by grade; the compensation package also includes allowances and benefits as per THDC rules and DPE guidelines.

The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances @ 35% of basic as per cafeteria, Performance Related Pay, company accommodation or HRA, reimbursement of conveyance and communication expenses, loans and advances, medical facilities, group insurance, PF, gratuity, pension and post-retirement medical benefits. Protection of basic pay for PSU/Govt employees will apply as per DPE guidelines.

  • General, OBC (NCL), and EWS: Rs. 600 (payable online via SBIePay).
  • SC, ST, PwBDs, Ex-Servicemen, Departmental candidates, Doob Kshetra/Project Affected Area families of THDC Projects: Exempted (No fee).
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection process

Selection is based on marks obtained in a Personal Interview and final empanelment will follow merit order; a minimum of 50% overall in the interview is required for empanelment.

  • General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates must pay Rs. 600 via SBIePay, verify auto-fetched payment details and submit; exempt categories may directly submit without payment.
  • Print a copy of the completed application for future reference; do not send printouts by post.

Important instructions and conditions

  • Internship, training, apprenticeship and teaching periods will not be counted as experience.
  • All qualifications must be regular, full-time and from Indian universities/institutes recognized by AICTE or appropriate statutory authorities.
